christmas dinner

Luke and I made 2 side dishes for Christmas dinner at his parents house. We made garlic mashed potatoes and stuffing. I don't think I'm a good cooking partner. I get all picky and anal about how to cut and what utensils to use. Luke was as patient as usual:). I prefer to work in my own kitchen with own cooking gadgets. And the sad thing is I hardly ever cook. I actually enjoy cooking, but I don't make time to cook. Luke's sister made this amazing roasted cauliflower with zucchini for Christmas dinner. I think I'm going to try it tonight. Okay, I'll stop blogging and wasting my time on the internet and cook! Here are a few shots of Christmas tree 2006.

Ah yah, Luke and I went ice skating at the Embarcadero.

christmas gift

I worked on my first scrapbook with much help from Caroline, one of the owners of Maya Road scrapbook company. I love taking photos, but didn't know there was so much you can do with photos. Most of my photos are sitting around in giant rubbermaid containers. Yes, giant rubbermaid containers! Thanks to Caroline's inspiration, instruction, and freebies, here's a few shots of my photo book that I made for my niece. Minus the shopping time, I spent about 7 hrs making this. I'm slow in general, this being my first, I was even slower:). My niece turned 1 at the end of Oct. She was probably expecting toys for Christmas, but maybe in 30 years, she'll like this gift:).

addicted to Lost

Luke and I have been glued to the TV for the past 2.5 weeks. We've been watching a lot of Lost. I've been wanting to catch up with the show since it first came out, but with class and training...I waited. Now that class is over and I've been lazy with training. We've been watching a lot of Lost. The other night we watched 4 episodes in 1 night, I think.

I love the flashbacks of each of the characters. I do get spooked when the Others jump out in the middle of nowhere. Overall, I like the flashbacks showing where this characters came from. When you get on a plan, you never know who you are sitting next to. When I worked in a grocery store as a cashier, I often wonder who are these people that come through my line. They could be murders, kidnappers buying a toothbrush. I gave change back to a kidnapper. Of course, I only think of negative things. When you work in a public place, you never know.

Tonight we will probably watch 2 or 3 more episodes or at least I hope so. I think once I start something, I become obsessed.

Also we might to try to get a tree later today:).
